Plagiarized

Think your blog is so brilliant in its uniqueness that others cannot help but avail themselves of the ever-so-handy cut and paste option?

Find out with Copyscape.

What are your thoughts on protecting web-content?

I couldn't care less if someone wants to take paragraphs of my own inane rambling. As I've previously stated here.

I agree with you, but yet I would be pissed if someone took my words and said they were theirs, and then published them on the web. That's why I have a Creative Commons license. I would expect them to ask me first before cutting and pasting things.

But what if they don't "copy and paste" but do it the old fashioned way - by simply re-typing your entry (with or without edits) on their own page?

Again, I'd be pissed (if it mattered to me) that they didn't ask me, and didn't credit me. Actually, the second is more important in most cases.
